Osteoporosis does not cause any symptoms but slowly weakens the bones leading to fracture. It is not something we should worry about as we get old but we must understand that majority of the damage is already done by age 30. It is up-to this age that bone mass keeps on building, after which there is steady state decline with an acceleration at menopause.
